Did you know that representatives from the Maryland Master Gardner’s Program have a booth every Saturday at the Bel Air Farmers’ Market, April through November? These specially trained folks are there to offer advice on soil testing, gardening, landscaping, Bayscaping, creating a rainwater garden, lawn care treatment, non-pesticide, and herbicide alternatives and more.

Veteran’s Compost – Harford County is lucky to be home to Veteran Compost, a veteran-owned business focused on turning food scraps into high quality organic compost in Maryland, DC and Virginia.  They provide food scrap collection, finished compost, and a host of other great products, and are partners with the Havre de Grace municipal compost program.
