What is the Klein Family Center?

The Klein Family Center is a behavioral health center that provides outpatient, urgent, and 24 hour, 7 day a week crisis care for mental health and addiction issues for adults and children.

It is NOT an emergency response center. If you are having a life threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately.

What services will the Klein Family Center provide?

24/7 Klein Family Center Hotline & Mobile Crisis Teams– TELEPHONE NUMBER: 1-800-NEXT-STEP (1-800-639-8783).
Mental Health outpatient services 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 7 days a week
Walk-in mental health and substance use urgent care 9 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week
Residential beds for adults

Why do we need a mental health center?

1 in 5 people suffer from behavioral health issues; two of the most common being anxiety and depression. Our community receives over 5,000 calls a year from people in crisis.

Knowing how/where to find help is one of the most common barriers to getting care. The goal of the Klein Family Center is to provide help to those in need in one convenient location.

Many admissions to hospitals have an underlying behavioral health issue (mental health and/or substance abuse). If we want people to get better, our community needs critical services that address these specific needs.

Who will the Klein Family Center serve?

The Klein Family Center is here to help with any situation involving behavioral health crisis, and to offer assistance and encouragement to those struggling to overcome substance abuse, isolation, and mental health issues.

The Klein Family Center will serve:

Adults age 18 and older
Youth and children – assessments and referrals to services

What insurance will the Klein Family Center accept?

No one will be turned away based on insurance.
