Mental health and addiction issues don’t only happen during weekday business hours. The Klein Family Center provides 24 hour/7 days a week services for mental health and addiction issues in one convenient location, regardless of insurance and ability to pay. If you need immediate service, please call or stop by. Services include:
- Hotline – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call with questions about mental health and addiction concerns or information on local resources
- Mobile Crisis Team – mobile team that will come to you in time of crisis 24/7
- Urgent Care Walk-in services – no appointment necessary. Mental health and addiction assessments and stabilization services. Open 9am to 9pm. Assessment and referral services are available for children as young as 5 and above.
- Residential treatment – eight residential beds for short term stabilization treatment.
- Outpatient services – outpatient mental health and substance use disorder appointments are available.

Core Mental Health works with mental health consumers, providers and community partners in Harford County, MD to create comprehensive programs and services that are recovery oriented. They also offer trainings which will be posted on the Healthy Harford calendar of events.

The Harford County Health Department Bureau of Behavioral Health is proud to offer a range of services. The Substance Use Disorder – Intensive Outpatient Program (SUD-IOP) is a continuum of structured therapeutic and assessment services appropriate for those with significant substance use problems who may be safely maintained at home outside of treatment hours but require more intensive treatment than is available through general outpatient treatment.
