Meals and Groceries Access during the CoVid19 Shutdown
We are working to provide a resources for food assistance in our community during the CoVid19 shutdowns. We will be updating these pages as new information becomes available. For general food access, please contact the Harford Community Action Agency, 1321 Woodbridge Station Way, Edgewood (410.612.9899) as they are the main food access point in Harford County. In addition, please see information below on meals/groceries assistance available at local churches throughout the county.
Faith Based Food Pantries for free groceries and meals
Faith based meals and food assistance are located throughout the community. Here is a list meals and food assistance at different churches based on region.
While school is closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Harford County Public Schools (HCPS)will provide a meal package, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, from 11am to 1pm (note times for specific sites) Monday thru Friday at locations through out the county
Meals are available to children ages 2-18 – one package per day per child. No application or pre-enrollment required. This service is available to all students, not just those on free and reduced meals.
Harford Community Action Agency Food Pantry
The Harford Community Action Agency 1321 Woodbridge Station Way, Edgewood. Provides groceries from 9am to noon, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They also assist with SNAP application and homeless services.

Individuals experiencing homelessness
The Emergency Rotating Shelter will not be in operation during CoVid-19 shutdowns. Shelter placement and referrals will only be for the Welcome One Shelter located at 1221 Brass Mill Road in Belcamp, Md. 21017.
All overnight shelters are presently operating 24 hours during the CoVid-19 crisis.
