Trauma in the Lives of Young Children

If you work with young children, understanding the impact of trauma on their lives is crucial. Join us as we focus specifically on this population.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to understand what constitutes trauma in the 0-5 population; understand the impact of trauma on development; understand the impact of trauma on relationships; and discuss the importance of relationships in helping young children heal.
Trainer – Jordana Saletan, BA, LMSW – Associate Director for Professional Development; Easterseals Blake Foundation
Jordana has been in the field of early childhood since 1998. Jordana’s past experience includes preschool teaching, infant mental health therapy, and mental health consultation. Jordana currently supports six contracts that provide professional development services for those who serve the birth-five population.
